We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to be the first to drive our growth in the power generation market for the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market dynamics, a proven track record in sales leadership, and a passion for building strong client relationships.

The candidate will report to the Head of Sales and will be based either in Paris, France or preferably in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Market Development: Identify and execute strategies to expand market presence in the DACH region in the nuclear and fossil power generation segments.

  • Sales Management: Build and grow your prospects pipeline to drive revenue growth throughout the complete salescycle from prospects acquisition to contract signature and customers retention.

  • Value Proposition: Understand how to articulate value and pitch Metroscope’s offerings according to client needs.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions (upselling/cross-selling).

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the DACH region.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Customer Success) to align sales efforts with company objectives.

  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance metrics, and market insights to the leadership team.


Profil recherché

  • Experience: 5-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, focused on the DACH region.

  • Market Knowledge:

    • Industry: Extensive experience in B2B international sales, particularly in the Power Generation/Energy sector or regulated industries. Experience with SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.

    • Geography: Deep understanding of DACH market dynamics and specificities

  • Proven Sales Track Record: A history of successfully leading sales efforts and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Experience in solution-selling frameworks (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, or Value-Based Selling) is a strong advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

    • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong planning and organizational capabilities to manage complex sales cycles effectively.

    • Autonomy and “get things done” mindset: strong appetite for both strategic AND operational tasks

  • Language: Fluency in German (native preferred) and English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is a plus.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings and business development efforts.

Déroulement des entretiens

  • Stage 1 - Initial Screening and Assessment - withCharlotte - Head of Sales

    📞 Call to confirm adequacy with the job, evaluate motivation and answer your questions.

  • Stage 2: In-Depth Interviews and Presentations

    One or two rounds of technical interviews with hiring managers and senior stakeholders. It includes a sales-focused case study or presentation to assess the candidate’s strategic thinking, industry knowledge, and ability to pitch effectively.

  • Stage 3: Final Evaluation

    • Behavioral interview with Damien - Chief People Officer

    • Interview with Aurélien - CEO

All interviews don’t have to take place at the office (Paris Saint Lazare) but we expect you to come there at least once during the process.

To smoothen and speed up the process, we might group stages.
