Purpose of the position

Develop and execute the global procurement strategy for the Creative Content & Production spend category underpinned by a robust roadmap to deliver against business ambitions.

Ensure that procurement effort has the right prioritization to meet the business need on Content for key identified BCs & MEs

Act as the key contact for identified business functions and procurement teams on Creative Content Category

Your key missions:

Strategy

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize value in Procurement Content & Production Category in line with the global procurement strategies and plans
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and management of Content procurement activities incorporating the overall sourcing process and sustainable procurement of associated services
  • Work with the procurement community to align indirect procurement strategies with overall company goals and initiatives
  • Animate ecosystem stakeholders and impulse supplier relationships management 
  • Translate diversity and the S&R Global commitments into procurement category objectives and requirements
  • Be an active leader in the procurement transformation program: drive transformation workstream and business alignment, lead implementation of best practices, procurement tools and process. 

Operational

  • Lead Content procurement operations for Global Procurement with focus BC as well as MEs
  • Responsible of a budget for Creative Content & Production (Creative, Social, Production incl. TheMix In-house Studio)
  • Ensure value maximization for Content procurement along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard's scale & professionalize procurement practices), Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand tightly), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity)
  • Collaborate with Global and affiliate Marketing business teams to understand spending needs related to Creative Content and Production and align procurement strategies accordingly : prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits & monitor category budgets to drive cost optimization.
  • Governance: ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures against legislation and mitigation of risks
  • Manage and optimize the procurement process for Creative Content and Production categories 
    • For Co-ordinated spend categories with affiliates: co-develop category strategies in close link with Head of Procurement at affiliate
    • For Global spend categories: Lead discovery, market review process and the contract implementation
    • Own and manage Preferred Partners on PPL (Preferred Partner List) from a commercial point of view including Agency reviews, Tracking of KPI and compliance to agreed Deliverable based/Should cost remuneration model.

Performance

  • Set KPIs and targets to measure the Content procurement contribution to PR performance ( indicators of success)
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in Content spending management to increase ROI and optimize supplier base (Marketing suppliers)
  • Take part of stakeholder's main governance meetings (1/Q) to anticipate needs and share supplier trends  
  • Provide Management with reports as requested including but not limited to summarising key activities and issues, governance, S&R savings, and improvements achieved
