About the role

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running and excellence of operations to support the creation of investment vehicles for our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in automating and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Your role will have the following 3 main focuses:

Client relations:

  • You will assist, advise and respond to enquiries from investors and customers ensuring a high level of service for complex issues and a positive experience.

  • You will demonstrate expertise in administrative matters along with a broader knowledge of accounting and legal issues to effectively support demanding audiences.

  • You will facilitate smooth onboarding and investment vehicle creation processes for our customers, ensuring seamless investment-related enquiries support.

  • You will manage a broad scope of work, interacting with a diverse client base from over 60 nationalities, including high-profile investors.

Manage operational and administrative tasks:

You will be responsible for all administrative matters, from company creation and monitoring companies to KYC checks. This include:

  • Legal incorporation of vehicles and managing partnerships (e.g. banks, notaries, domiciliation services)

  • Oversee investor compliance checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Lead the automation of repetitive tasks and the streamlining of workflows to enhance operational efficiency, together with the Product and Tech team

Managing the Operations Team:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 3-people team in Ops:

  • Set up and track KPIs, and share your findings with the Board, and other teams (Product, Marketing, Sales).

  • Analyze current operational processes and implement improvements to optimize performance and productivity.

  • Develop and implement best practices for operational excellence, leveraging technology and innovative solutions.

Challenges

The key challenges you will face are :

  • Fast timelines - we aim for less than a week from start to finish of an investment

  • Challenging clients - you will be interact with top European investors and founders

  • Large amount of documents

  • Complex processes in a highly regulated environment

  • Multiple stakeholders to manage (bank, investors, incorporation office, …)

Profil recherché

You’re a great match if you have these skills

  • Education: You have a Master’s degree from an engineering school, business school or equivalent (a major on finance or operations is a plus),

  • Experience: You have 5 years of experience in operation or in a customer relationship role with an appetite for operations and administrative issues. Experience in a legal tech or fintech company is a plus. Language: You are fluent in French and English.

  • Tools: You know tools such as Airtable, Make or Zapier and have used them to automate tasks in the past.

  • Interest: You have a genuine interest in angel investing and the world of venture capital.

  • Entrepreneurial: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have a lot of responsibility. We are a seed-stage startup so you can help grow your role as you see fit.
