About the Role

The Senior Account Manager 'New Categories' role calls for a rare combination of stunning analytical skills, exceptional relationship management, and excellent operational mindset. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be in charge of expanding the number of strategic partners in the Retail business. You will be the main point of contact of those partners once they sign a commercial agreement (and you may be involved earlier, during commercial negotiations) . From the first discussions, your role is key: implementation of a pilot, launch of stores, sales maximization through optimization of operational metrics, pricing, catalog and marketing. If you want to have a strong impact on the growth of the Grocery & Retail business in France, with important responsibilities, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Partnership management: you will be the main point of contact of your partners. You will create long-term relationships with your key accounts, which will allow you to optimize their financial results, their pricing strategy & marketing investments, their engagement on the platform and their satisfaction. You will significantly influence their delivery performance.
  • Growth: you will develop action plans with your key accounts to grow their sales through the activation of new stores (ex: rollout of stores, support for expansion), the experimentation of new business models, or the sales growth of already active stores (e.g. marketing campaigns, assortment optimization).
  • Analysis: You will quantify everything you do. You will make decisions based on the data to understand the performance of your initiatives, and you will prioritize those with the best return on investment.
  • Commercial management: You will conduct commercial discussions with your accounts to build long-term, sustainable partnerships.
  • Work with internal teams: You will work closely with stakeholders in our internal teams in France (ex: Sales, Catalog, Ops) and internationally (ex: Product, Support, Courier Operations teams), to support the action plan you build together, solve their challenges and ensure that their feedback is used to improve our product and our operations.
  • You will act as an ambassador for Uber Eats' mission, brand and product.
What You'll Need
  • 4 years experience in a sales / account management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain the necessary information from the prospect, while also ensuring a mutually beneficial conversation.
  • To be driven and excited about a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent organization, project management and time management skills, and ability to take initiative.
  • Highly autonomous - able to work with minimal oversight
  • Ability to take initiatives and easily adapt to a constantly-changing work environment.
  • Be proactive and build positive and lasting relationships with our retail partners, bringing them added value and helping them to reach their potential on Uber Eats
  • Problem Solving Skill: When you come across a problem, you work hard at solving it and think outside the box.
  • Data-based decision-making, a solid business sense supported by a structured way of thinking will allow you to measure the performance and financial viability of your partners.
  • Fluent in both French and English
