We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product team and take ownership of the design function at Aria.
Design plays a critical role in ensuring that our users (platforms, sellers and buyers) have intuitive and efficient experiences across our suite of applications.
This includes:
The client dashboard where our customers track and manage payments of their invoices.
Our back-office application used by our FinOps team to manage transactions.
Reusable front-end components and standalone applications for clients who prefer to avoid deep API integrations (e.g., KYC/onboarding components, supplier dashboards).
Optionally, design and challenge our API technical documentation to enhance the developer experience.
Define and execute user research strategies: conducting interviews, organizing workshops, and synthesizing findings.
Build user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs iteratively and collaboratively.
Deliver exceptional experiences while balancing user satisfaction, business viability, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, FinOps teams, and end-users to prioritize and test features.
Contribute to building a strong product organization and improving processes for shipping high-quality products quickly.
We’re looking for a senior, autonomous designer with a strong product sense and who can challenge the status quo and elevate our design practices.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience as a designer, ideally within fintech or complex/technical domains.
Expertise in user research, interaction design and visual design with a pragmatic and user-first mindset.
Proven copywriting skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, balancing ambition and pragmatism.
A proven ability to ship high-quality products with impact on business and client satisfaction.
Comfortable with collaborating with senior stakeholders regularly and presenting work in English and French.
Experienced at thinking at strategic level, while delivering in small, incremental steps.
Optional
An appetite for the technical side of things, such as APIs and complex workflows.
Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with front-end development constraints (e.g., HTML/CSS).
Familiarity with analytics tools for measuring design and product performance.
