Position Overview:
Step into a pivotal role as our Strategic Partnerships Director within the dynamic Sales Team. Your mission? To forge and nurture strategic partnerships that not only elevate PayFit's market presence but also propel our revenue growth to new heights.
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Indirect Sales Director to spearhead our sales initiatives in France. You'll play a crucial role in driving our expansion through the innovative Partner Program. This is your chance to elevate PayFit’s cutting-edge payroll and HR solutions for SMEs within a rapidly evolving industry. You'll have the exciting responsibility of owning the topline revenue generated by or thanks to our partners, while collaborating closely with marketing and strategy teams to craft and execute a compelling go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, Train, and Inspire: Cultivate a high-performing sales team known for exceeding targets, fostering an environment of excellence and engagement.
Visionary Strategy: Craft and execute pioneering strategies to identify and onboard ideal PayFit partners at scale, amplifying our reach and impact.
Seamless Collaboration: Foster cross-functional synergy with Marketing, Strategy, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver an outstanding customer journey.
Leadership and Growth: Lead and expand a sales team, poised for significant growth in the coming quarters. Your leadership will be both strategic and hands-on, setting a standard of excellence.
Market Representation: Champion the PayFit Partner Program in France, acting as a pivotal internal stakeholder to drive growth and collaboration with our global teams. Support partners in their business processes (bids, presentations, etc.), assist in preparing and co-hosting events organized by partners: webinars, trade shows, forums, user clubs, meetings with prospects, etc.
Strategic Partnerships: Build robust relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, within partner organizations. Lead strategic discussions and negotiations to secure and expand partnerships, developing joint business plans and aligning mutual goals with partners.
Data-Driven Insights: Leverage market data to identify new partnership opportunities and optimize existing ones. Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnership strategies.
Performance Analytics: Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
The role is for you if:
We are ideally seeking a candidate with 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within partnerships & indirect sales, business development, or strategic account management, preferably in the SaaS or fintech industry.
You have a proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships that drive business growth and excel in closing high-value deals through strategic negotiation.
You possess strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and proactively seek opportunities and solutions.
You have a proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage long-term relationships, effectively influencing high-level decision-makers.
You possess a deep understanding of SaaS technology, including API integrations and digital platforms, along with technical acumen in SaaS solutions and third-party travel platforms.
You are data-driven, using insights to inform strategic decisions, and have a comprehensive understanding of the digital and technology landscape, including trends and competitive dynamics.
You have successfully led and developed teams, showcasing strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
You are fluent in both French and English, enabling effective communication and collaboration in an international and multicultural setting.
It would be great if you also:
Have experience working in a matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams.
Are familiar with the HR or payroll technology space.
Have a network of contacts within the technology or business services sector.

PayFit's Sales team is a dynamic group of over 100 passionate professionals, including SDRs, BDRs, AEs, SAMs, and Sales Operations, spanning France, Spain, and the UK. As part of our newly established team focused on expanding PayFit's strategic partnerships, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive mutual success with our partners. This role reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with PayFit!
